TWR GTR 2008

 

The following is a series of photographs and brief notes on everything I’ve done to my GTR during 2008…

 

Following further investigation and diagnosis into the engine overheating issues, tests indicated that there are issues with the cylinder heads/ports/head gaskets?  The only solution is to completely overhaul the top end of the engine – I believe that if you’re going to do something, you should do it right!  So, work starts on top end overhaul (May 2008), note how corroded the distributor pick ups are (this took some cleaning)…  And the Chuck Nyutton built 750CFM Holley (NASCAR spec)…
